Thunder City Aircraft For Sale… Lightnings, Hunters and Buccaneers
Well it's been a sad last year or so for Capetown's Thunder City, and now the aircraft are up for sale.

Lightning XS458 High Speed Run Advert
Recently a professionally edited advert for our experience days has been published to YouTube. David Taylor has done a sterling job of putting together this immaculate short video which captures the excitement of a day at Cranfield!
The experiences can be bought as a High-Speed Runway Run in the right hand seat, or attendance as a Photographer. Photographers can be positinoed near to the runway for close-up high speed shots!
The days allow all guests to get up close and personal with the aircraft and crew, and usually feature 2x Runs, one either side of an included buffet lunch! So even if you’ve had your run in the morning, you get to witness the afternoon run as a bonus!

I’ve kindly been sent a couple of images of myself, from a high speed run day at Cranfield a couple of weeks ago.
The author conencting the Houchin ground generator, Closing / Opening the cockpit canopy, and standing with John in fornt of the aircraft for the photo!
It was a glorious day, we were very lucky with the weather – 2x high speed runs, faultless aircraft, and some static re-heat performances too!

Lightning Reflection – XS458 @ Cranfield
About 2 weeks ago, we were playing about with the camera and this Mk3C helmet down at Cranfield, got a nice reflection of T5 Lightning XS458 in the visor. Luckily some pro photographers were present, who came up with the idea!
